FortuneFish has posted a music teaser from a new, unannounced project.
They have not said much about the project, other then these two statements taken from social media below.
Statement and pic from Facebook:
“Here is a small sneak peek at the music we are working on currently. We are still sworn to secrecy about the project so use your imaginations to guess what we are creating!”
Music and statement from Soundcloud:
“A sneak peek at some music we are working on here at FortuneFish. Can you imagine what kind of game this would be for?”
No other details have been given, but giving the end of the year timing, this may be the project that Tim Stamper mentioned in his interview with Develop-Online. While not much is said there either, the language used gave the impression that this was something a bit more ambitious than FortuneFish’s past two projects, and that we might hear more around the end of the year.
Tim Stamper from his Develop-Online interview:
“Ultimate and Rare made dramatic changes to the type of software available throughout their history and that’s why I don’t really want to sit back and look at what’s been done before. We need to push forward to the future – that’s why the move from Microsoft was made, that’s what I’m doing now, and that’s what I’ve been doing with Chris for the last eight years or so.”
“I purposefully try not to look at other people’s products because I don’t want to be steered from the direction I’m taking,” he says.
So what direction is the veteran games developer taking?“Well, I can’t tell you that yet, but you’re going to find out hopefully by the end of the year.”
Let’s keep our fingers crossed that we see or hear more of this by New Years.
